Giselle Ramírez Sandoval

Dr. Giselle Ramirez has a PhD in Materials Science (UPC). She leads the Tribology Research Line at Eurecat. She is actively involved in different European projects, where her group mainly contributes with the tribomechanical characterization of bulk and coated materials for forming and high-speed machining applications. She was a guest researcher at Oerlikon Balzers Liechtenstein. Most recently, her projects are focused on surface integrity of AM components and machining monitoring of tools.
